Laser Treatment
Laser Treatment for Fungal Nails (Onychomycosis)
Fungal nail laser treatment penetrates the nail and generates heat at the site of infection beneath the nail plate. This destroys the fungal cells. You will feel a warm sensation on the nail and nail bed. The laser treatment does not require any local anaesthesia. The number of treatments required is determined by the number of infected nails, severity of the fungal infection, your age and general health. Your podiatrist will advise on the number of laser treatments recommended for you, but generally, 2-3 treatments are required.

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy is a treatment whereby a hand-held probe is positioned over the affected area (foot / lower limb). The probe delivers very high energy acoustic waves which expand as they travel inside the area. These sound waves stimulate tissue regeneration, increase blood flow to the specified area and break down scar tissue. The process accelerates healing and provides temporary pain relief.
